DJI No-Flight Zones Information

The user needs to set up a profile including information on the organization, pilot and aircraft. Once complete, they can request a ‘custom unlock’ or a zone unlock for the area they are operating in.
RMUS Online Training Center
There are regulatory and technical requirements to flying a drone, and while they aren’t difficult to master, training at the hands of experienced UAS pilots will give you the confidence and skill you need to deliver mission results.
RMUS Canada has developed simple-to-use, comprehensive training for our customers. We have curricula for the most popular enterprise aircraft and we also provide foundational training for Unmanned Systems operation and program management.
All training begins with online courses within our platform, overseen by a program manager that tracks your progress and helps you advance.

UAV Checklist / Pre-Flight
Mission
- Secure flight deck perimeter
- Ground crew in place and briefed on mission
- Document weather conditions in the flight log
Aircraft
- Check airframe, batteries, tablets, cables and controllers
- Verify charge levels full for controllers, batteries and tablets
- Verify Memory Card has been properly formatted and inserted
- Attach payloads / accesories and verify normal operation
- Set and confirm return-to-home
- Inspect propellers abd “feel test” for damage
- Confirm rthat control app and display within normal limits
- Confirm aircraft/drone normal status and GPS lock
UAV Checklist / Flight and Post-Flight
Take-off
- Status indicators do not indicate error
- Engage motor unlock on remote
- Take-off, climb up to 10 meters (32 feet) and check remote controls are functioning properly
Landing
- Announce landing to ground crew
- Visually clear landing area
- Land aircraft safe and slowly
- Power down the aircraft before handling it
Post-flight
- Inspect the drone thoroughly for any signs of wear that might have occurred during the mission
- Finish mission documentation
- Safely download SD Card data onto storage device before next mission
