The newest addition to the the DJI line up is the Dock 2 a docking station capable of deploying the Matrice 3D or 3TD drones with ease and security.
The Dock 2 is lightweight, offers high-level operation capabilities, and has cloud-based intelligent functions that bring efficiency and quality to unattended operations.
The all-new DJI Matrice 3D/3TD are specifically designed for DJI Dock 2:
Up to 50 mins of flight time
Quicker deployment, 2 person can lift it up and fits a small elevator
Suitable for high precision mapping.
Slide-ramp centering design and wireless charging
Up to 40 mins of flight time
Requires multiple people, sometimes a crane is required for rooftop deployment
Mainly used for security and inspection
Push rod centering and contact charging
The Matrice 3D is equipped with both a tele camera and a wide-angle camera with a mechanical shutter, meeting the requirements needed for 1:500 high-precision mapping tasks.
The Matrice 3TD, outfitted with a wide-angle camera, a tele camera, and an infrared camera, can depict both visible light and thermal images, making it suitable for security and inspection operations.
The Dock 2 offers several improvements over the previous model, offering improved operations and better than ever results for a docking station.
Comes with a large sized CMOS sensor and a mechanical shutter, suitable for high precision mapping tasks.
The Dock 2 has a slide-ramp centering design & wireless charging.
With fewer actuators makes it easier to maintain.
The Dock 2 can take off without waiting for
RTK Fixed.
With next-gen recognition technology, the Dock 2 will accurately identify positioning markers on the landing pad. Additionally, the landing pad’s new slide-ramp centering design further facilitates precise landing.
43% improvement of max effective operating radius and a greatly decreased difficulty for alternate landing point setting.
10 km, reducing costs of deployment. Still supports 10 mins of hovering operation when flying up to 10 kms.
1-50 mts compatible with more deployment locations reduces difficulty of alternate landing set up.
DJI’s Flighthub 2 generates high-precision 3D models based on the collected flight data.
These models can be annotated, measured, and down loaded to be used at any moment.
Utilizing high-precision 3D models, operators can conduct visual flight route editing from a first-person perspective and preview simulated imaging results.
